To Kill A King perform in the garden

We rather like this little clip. It’s the latest and final in the series of ‘Ralph’s Balcony sessions‘, conceptualized by To Kill A King’s lead singer Ralph Pelleymounter. As you’ll see, there are too many artists to fit on a balcony, so they’ve done this one in someone’s back garden instead. Pelleymounter’s delivery takes a bit of getting used to, but Emily Wood’s is beautiful and, when the drums and handclaps kick in, it gets really charming and continues to do so as more instruments are added.

As well as these two vocalists, the video features many of the acts who have featured throughout the series, including Bastille, Youth Imperial, Professor Penguin, We Were Evergreen, The Title Sequence and To Kill A King. The 20+ musicians perform an original and as-yet-unreleased new To Kill A King track called Choices.
