Karen Walker AW13 lookbook

Here at Something You Said, we spend a lot of time indoors, cooped up in our “thinking caves”, reading squillions of press releases and listening to tunes from bands that only a select few have heard before us. We’re a pale bunch, living off a diet of crisps and gelato.

When we decide to venture out to our favorite icecreamery, we want to look fresh and trendy, less like the Hunchback of Notre Dame that spends hours chained to a laptop. Karen Walker’s new AW13 lookbook is what we strive to achieve when we take to the streets. Our ideal outside selves wear chambray polka dot pants and a cute illistrated tee while strutting along the street licking a pear and salted caramel ice cream. Yum and yum.

Other highlights of the collection are the navy galaxy motif tailored dresses and skirts and the skirt with the gold flake texture which, if we were idiots, we would describe as ‘totes amazeballs’. But we’re not. So we won’t.
