Harbourlife Sydney: Tickets almost sold out

Some music events make bold claims that they can’t back up. Harbourlife in Sydney is not one of them. When it says that it is held in the best location for an event in the world, it’s pretty much spot on. The one-day festival takes place on what is officially the first day of Australian Summer, 1st December, right by the water at the beautiful, tree-filled Mrs Macquaries Point. From there, you can breathe in stunning views of the iconic Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Sydney city skyline and Botanic Gardens. Which, I think you’ll agree, is a more than decent vista.

Oh, and there’s awesome sounds on offer too, of course. Not least 2manyDj‘s, who’ll be closing the day with a bang. Check this out from the Reading Festival and then tell us you don’t want to see them. Also on the bill is Mark Farina, an absolute house legend who doesn’t need any hyping up.

Flight Facilities will be there too. This is an act that we are digging the hell out of at Something You Said at the moment. Also, you can see Adana Twins and man of the moment, Sydney beat maker Flume (whose album we are bringing you a review of on Monday, so check back in then). With more ace acts on the line-up and sunshine almost guaranteed, this is an event you should most certainly get your arse along to.

UPDATE: THIS EVENT HAS NOW SOLD OUT. Why not go to Field Day instead on New Year’s Day? Tickets are available from http://www.fielddaynyd.com.au
