Mt Wolf make our knees wobble

Here at somethingyousaid.com, we’re digging on London-based four-piece Mt Wolf right now. The quartet were massively talked about last year and cemented that praise with the release of their debut EP Life Size Ghosts, last October. Vocalist Kate Sproule’s harmonies make us go a bit wobbly in the knee department, if we’re honest, as her vocal sits delicately over a layered tapestry of orchestration that the band have labelled ‘dream folk’.

Their second EP, Hypolight, came out this April, and if you’re UK based, you can catch the group live over the next few months. We especially recommend one particular event. They’re set to bring their ethereal electronic folk to the intimate surrounds of the London’s beautiful Union Chapel for a very special candlelit show this on June 7th. Support comes from the excellent Peter & Kerry and James Spankie. You can get your tickets here.
