Video: New Cut Copy Hypnotises

Last year, I happened to catch Australian indie-dance legends Cut Copy twice within a fortnight. Although I’m moderately fond of the band, it was still something of an overload, and since this condensed Cut Copy binge I haven’t really thought of the group. Until just now! The Cutters have been churning out incredibly satisfactory dance numbers for over a decade, and now have just released a trippy video, to accompany a six-minute, dizzying track. I’m all over it like a rash.

Let Me Show You is the first single released since the band’s 2010 album, Zonoscope. The track was recently set free into the world at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago, where 100 vinyl singles were available for keen fans. It was ripped to Youtube by one of these keenos and everyone on the internets was delighted by these new sounds from the group. But, the official video was worth waiting for, a hypnotic strobe mess that will have your eyeballs confused.
