Video: Turbo Fruits, Harley Dollar Bill$

American rock’n’rollers, Turbo Fruit, whose band name sounds like some delectable soft fruit candy, which I’m alright with, have a new tune out ahead of their Australian Tour. The band being born from former Be Your Own Pet and Bruise Cruise member, Jonas Stein, ensures listeners a wild, high ante pummelling from the groups’ sounds.

The track, Harley Dollar Bill$ is a bootstamper, hip twister of epic proportions. The surly track is accompanied by visuals of Harley riders and their women, as they gamble, smoke and show off their patch adorned leather get-up. The track is lifted from their second full length album, Butter, that was the result of sleeping rough and accumulating stories and tall tales on a series of tours that the band embarked on.

Their music sparked attention from long-time babe Drew Barrymore, who featured Turbo Fruits in her directorial debut, that oestrogen heavy film about rollerskating, or something, Whip It. So depending on your choices of light comedies, you may have come into contact with the band before.
