New Music: Disclosure unleash Apollo

Something peculiar happened when Disclosure came into popularity, the shirtless festival gurners and 7am Spice groovers were to unite over these tunes that were sexy while having the right about of unst usnt. That “when a fire starts to burn” song made a ridiculous amount of appearances on my Facebook feed and followed me around the world on my travels.

At a hostel that I stayed at in Germany, the staff thought it appropriate to play their album on repeat FOR AN ENTIRE DAY. I might be exaggerating a little but it’s lucky I am a fan, or all of that erotic musical thumping would have been like, totally annoying.

Anyhoo, the English duo have a new track out for the interwebs and club/festival revellers/German hostel staff to go mad for. Apollo is a sweaty club thumper, it follows the same sporadic musical formula that I noticed on the bands’ debut Settle. There’s some ‘big drops’ that people will go mad for.

Disclosure are playing a number of big shows in the US and Europe in the near future, be sure to check them out. Keep up to date with them on their website.
