fbi

You probably don’t need us to inform you that Sydney’s FBi Radio is an abso-bloody-lutely amazing institution. You probably also already know that the station is independent, not-for-profit and in its tenth year of broadcasting. Well, the guys/gals at FBi are once again fundraising in a typically inventive way…

The lynchpin of the Sydney/Australian music scene has launched a unique art auction: BRUSH WITH FAME. It’s your chance to own an original one-of-a-kind work by your favourite musician or band. FBi volunteers have been catching favourite acts from around the world and have asked them to decorate a plain white canvas using fabric markers. The artists took inspiration from whatever subject matter they chose and donated these exclusive pieces to raise

Jamie-xx1-800x533There are over 40 works from international and Australian artists spanning all genres including Iggy & The Stooges, Vampire Weekend, Moby, Tame Impala, The xx, Disclosure, Florence and the Machine, Animal Collective, Dirty Projectors, Jay Reatard, Foals and many more.
