Giveaway: Win Metallica Through the Never

Something You Said is teaming up with our friends at Entertainment One Hopscotch to give away some copies of Metallica Through the Never on DVD.  The film, directed by award-winning filmmaker Nimród Antal (Predators, Kontroll), is an entertainment experience which weaves an out-of-this-world narrative with Metallica’s spectacular live performance.

As we said when we reviewed the film, this is for the teens who’d listen to Ride the Lightning til two in the morn and then shred down their dead town’s main street on their skateboards like kings; It’s for guitar fiends who poured over the Master of Puppets riff in their bedroom till they nailed it; It’s for the goons who’d bang their heads to Lars’ double kick drum in One – over and over again.

The narrative follows Trip (Dane DeHaan: The Place Beyond the Pines, Lawless), a young roadie sent on an urgent mission during Metallica’s roaring live set. As the band performs for tens of thousands of devoted fans, Trip is dispatched outside the arena to recover a mysterious item being transported to the show. But the seemingly simple assignment turns into a surreal adventure when Trip finds himself in the middle of a tense standoff between angry protestors and charging riot police.

The film is available to buy on 15 January.
