Music: MØ, Don’t Wanna Dance

You’re probably already well acquainted with MØ,  the Danish babe that rocks a plaited ponytail better than any regular adult human-being could ever dream to. We’re particularly smitten, you may refer back to our interview review with the lady herself here.

She’s keeping momentum in 2014 after a big year of singles and worldwide tours, with a new release. Titled Don’t Wanna Dance, it’s a boppy number that conjures similarities with Robyn’s Dancing With Myself. MØ says she wants to boogie on her lonesome (not unlike Hana from Girls in her bedroom post-Adam breakup – you get me), but she’s still on her own and crazy for that someone, getting “the creeps by the way your body moves”, yearning for babes on the DF til the early morning.

Don’t Wanna Dance will be featured on the highly-anticipated forthcoming debut record, No Mythologies To Follow.

If you want more from MØ, check out a live performance of Don’t Wanna Dance performed in Copenhagen, here. You can pick up a copy of No Mythologies To Follow on Feb 24th, but in the meantime, keep up to date with everything MØ via Facebook
