Premiere: Busy Kingdom, Stranger Than Fiction

Here’s another video premiere for your delectation. Australia-based melodic rock group Busy Kingdom have just unleashed the clip for their new single ‘Stranger Than Fiction’. Check it out above, exclusive to Something You Said.

Upon watching it, you’ll notice that it’s not actually a reference to that Will Ferrell movie of the same name, but rather a story of a mysterious character entering a small town one evening, bewildering townspeople who didn’t believe he could perform black magic, and then disappearing into the night. The tune is perky and snappy, with great harmonies and a catchy as hell chorus.

Here’s the scoop on Busy Kingdom. The band is comprised of Sydney-raised, Melbourne-based brothers Brendan and Michael Etherington (vocals, guitars, songwriting), along with bassist Curtis Ardolino and drummer, Alex Barnard. The four-piece have been turning heads on tour this year, and are now working on material for their upcoming EP. So be sure to keep them on your radar.
