Music: Burn Antares – Crystal Love

Powerful vocals and seductive, wing-eyed glances from leading lady, Grace Farriss carry the song and video combination from Burn Antares. The video is a sepia-toned affair with many a cravat, flared hemline and paisley print. It’s jolly good 60s nostalgia fun featuring the band getting in touch with their natural, leafy surroundings.

The latest sway-worthy number from the outfit, Crystal Love was assisted by Janis Joplin – well, kind of; Farriss had an interaction with the 60s musical powerhouse in her slumber. She stated that “I met Janis Joplin in a dream and she gave me the song as a present. I took it to the boys and we worked on it till it was smoking hot. The day before we went in to record, we rewrote the melody so Janis’ estate couldn’t sue us.”
