Video Premiere: Innamech, The Line

We’re super chuffed to today bring you the Premiere of the brand-spanking new video from Innamech, a Progrocktronica act from the Blue Mountains. Progrocktronica’s a nice word to say, isn’t it?

The Australian duo is comprised Jimmi Carr (no, not Jimmy Carr) and Samantha Rich (aka Sammy Psyborg). They got together at the University of Western Sydney. Jimmi is an experienced singer/songwriter and has worked with members of Hermitude and Down Under Beats Crew as well as sharing stages with artists such as Adalita, Lior and Xavier Rudd. Meanwhile Samantha Rich is a young, classically trained musician and producer who sings and can play a killer upright bass.

The coming together of these two musicians has created music which blends elements of rock, hip-hop and psychedelic dance, and the first single from their debut, self titled, EP is a strong example of what they do so well. The Line melds pop, psychedelia and hip-hop and turns it into something really catchy. Check it out above and, if you like what you hear, you should totally follow the band on Facebook.

If you are in NSW, you can also see them at the following venues over the next couple of months;

21st November – Oxford Art Factory – Sydney EP Launch

19th December – Hotel Gearin, Katoomba
