If the seemingly interminable British winter is enveloping you in melancholy, then why not start preparing for the annual two-weeks of summertime that you can look forward to at the end of July. Slap-bang in the middle of that sunkissed fortnight (on the 23rd – 26th July) is The Secret Garden Party, which is certainly one of our favourite UK festivals.

From humble beginnings in 2003, the Secret Garden Party is inspired by the original ethos of Glastonbury and Burning Man. There are all manner of workshops, art installations and activities, like the paint fight. They’ve even got hot-tubs.

The festival has just announced a killer line, to play over 14 music stages covering the 100 acre site in Cambridgeshire.  This year, you can see the likes of Jungle and the frankly magnificent Kate Tempest joined by best friends of Something You Said, Angus and Julia Stone and heaps of other acts.
