Music Interview: Getting to Know Duoux

duoux

Up-n-coming Melbourne-based band, Duoux, are set to launch their latest single this month. We wanted to learn more about them, so here they are, in their own words:

We are Duoux. Callum Bibby, Jess Tyler and Liam Best

It’s Almost Sunday is our latest single for 2015 and something we find to be a big development for us as a band. We are happy and excited to share it with everyone.

Melbourne is home. Beautiful, cold home. Best part of Aus.

Our single launch in Melbourne on the 27th August will be one big party and everyone should come have a dance with us and the support acts Dear Plastic and Zone Out, they kill it.

We spend too much time eating cheeseburgers and lying around doing nothing.

We’re currently listening to… everything. Don’t ever get bogged down on one or two albums.

It might surprise people to learn that Liam is actually 87 years old but has got a lot of work done, so you can’t really tell.

In the Future there will be robots with flames attached to their heads playing our music because the human race will become obsolete, like Betamax to CD.

The band will launch their single at the Grace Darling Hotel on Thursday the 27th of August with support from Dear Plastic and Zone Out. Keep up to date with Duoux on Facebook.
