Puma and ICNY serve up some ice cream

How to gain your product our undivided attention in one pretty-bloody-easy step: Make it ice cream-themed. We love us some ice cream.

So that’s exactly what Puma and alternative sportswear pioneers ICNY have gone and done, as they reunite with another exciting release – this time an amalgamation of their combined vision, push for innovation and meshing of sport and lifestyle.

For this second collaboration, Puma and ICNY chose the latest running silhouette, the Ignite runner, as it is one of Puma’s most responsive running shoes ever released. The pack comes in two colourways inspired by ice cream flavours, chocolate chip cookie dough and mint chocolate chip. So good you’ll wanna eat them. Don’t though. Don’t eat your shoes. That won’t end well.

The upper is decked in full colour 3M reflective material, while the IGNITE foam outsole is dressed with black speckles that resemble chocolate chips and cookies. Holy shit.

We’ve all heard of Puma but incase you are unfamiliar with ICNY, they were developed after founder and designer Mike Cherman was struck by a car whilst cycling. Motivated by this, ICNY was created with the aspiration to provide added safety and increased visibility by using reflective materials on key areas of sport apparel and accessories.

If you want to get hold of a pair of these bad boys, you can do so for about 180 bones. They are available now at the following places and elsewhere.
