Heads up Sydney! Do you want to get some free beer inside you, while checking out some ace music photos? Then have a read of this, because Mumford & Sons’ ‘Gentlemen Of The Road’ Photographic Retrospective Exhibition is heading to the Young Henry’s Brewery in Newtown this week.

The exhibition celebrates the band’s return to Aussie shores for their ‘Gentlemen Of The Road’ tour, and will be held on the 13th, 14th and 15th of November at Young Henry’s.

Mumford & Sons will be playing at The Domain on Saturday with Jake Bugg, Future Islands, The Vaccines, The Jungle Giants, Meg Mac and Art of Sleeping, and attendees of the photographic exhibition have got the chance to win double passes. There will also be charity auctions for limited edition signed banjos, and more. Rumour has it the boys will be popping in at some point too.

Here’s what is going down:

Friday 13th Nov
– From 12-6pm giveaway a double pass to The Domain event every hour
– bar tab refresh every hour from 12-6pm

Saturday 14th Nov
– Free breakfast available from 10am
– Live mural painters all day
– Cheap Ubers from the gallery to the show 
– Limited complimentary beers from 11am

Sunday 15th Nov
– Live screen printer from 12-3pm, creating complimentary limited edition t-shirts
– Limited complimentary afternoon beers from 12pm

And that’s not all the boys are up to… On Friday the 13th the sports mad Brits will strap on their football boots and head straight to the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence (NCIE) in Redfern to play a charity football (that’s soccer to you Aussies) tournament against The Vaccines, the lads from Bondi Rescue, the Dungog Boomerangs, a team of youth leaders from the NCIE, as well as music industry teams from Dew Process, Sony, I Oh You, Purple Sneakers, Stoney Roads, UndrCtrl and many more!

If that’s not enough excitement for you, there will also be a raffle going, with prizes ranging from 4 x GA tickets to a Sydney FC game to a prize pack of Rimmel London cosmetics to the value of $300!

The Soccer round robin will be open to the public from 5.45pm (first game kicks off at 6pm). Entry is a $5 donation, with all proceeds going to the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence and the Dungog Community.

Hungry music lovers will find a selection of food trucks to satisfy their bellies, headlined by the star pulling power of the ice treat gods, Gelato Messina, who have created some majestic sweets inspired by the day. Also joining the line-up of culinary delights will be Newtown share food masters Bloodwood, bearded bakers Knafeh with their Jerusalem street food, The Crepe & Coffee Co, Agape, Mama Linhs, Bits Sized Delights, festival favourites Emmy’s Gozleme, Sauerkraut Sisters, Tsuru, La Carovana, Eat Art Truck, Urban Pasta, Thainabox and last but not least, Mary’s famous mouthwatering burgers and fried chicken.
