Interview: Getting to know Lauv

Producer and solo artist Lauv has just announced his debut tour of Australia. We asked him to tell us about himself:

I am Lauv.

‘I met you when I was 18’ is a playlist, but really it’s a story. All of the songs I’ve put out have been about a chapter of my life, so I wanted to a create a place where I could put it all together in order. And where I’ll be releasing a bunch more new songs that tell the rest of the story as I piece it all together.

Home is a feeling, not a place.

My upcoming tour of Australia will be really exciting because I’ve never been there before, let alone played. I’m really looking forward to connecting with all my fans out there.

I spend too much time overthinking things in my life.

I’ve never been to Australia!!!!! Haha.

It might surprise people to learn that when you cut into a rare steak and you see red stuff that’s not actually blood, that’s just a chemical reaction between a specific protein and water hahaaaa
