Music Video: KHUSHI covers MØ

With an unusual title that comes from a childhood nickname, London-bread Khushi is making waves with his delicate indie sounds. He recently sold out a single launch, turning away many-a-fan that wanted to hear the single, Magpie, for the first time within a live setting. We can imagine their disappointment, Khushi’s music is a nod to the likes of brilliant alternative artists like Alt-J and The xx.

In this featured video, Khushi recorded at the In The Woods Festival. It was the first in a series of ‘Barn Sessions’, the artist covers Danish flavour-of-the-moment MØ’s track, Pilgrim; in a barn, of course. The farmyard live rendition is blissful and I really enjoy the female accompaniment and accordion alongside Khushi’s floaty vocals, I’m sure you will too.
