The 5th annual Rolling Stone Awards
Mumbling folk mega-genius Bob Dylan once questioned exactly how it felt to be like a rolling stone? Well, it’s with complete authority and experience that we can happily announce it feels amazing to be a (punter drinking lots of tequila at the) Rolling Stone (Awards).
Yup, this week Patrón Tequila presented the 5th Annual Rolling Stone Awards at the Beach Road Hotel in Bondi. The magazine’s annual music awards celebrated the best in Australian entertainment, with the music industry and people who like a free party out in full force to support winners while necking a variety of Patrón’s tequila cocktails.
More than 1,000 guests attended the event and likely had sore heads the next morning, thanks to the flowing booze, which included the Patrón Paloma, Patrón Mule, Passionfruit Margarita and the Patrón XO Dark Espresso Martini.
We’re chuffed that lots of Something You Said’s friends/favourites took out awards, including Lorde, Tame Impala, The Jezabels and The Preatures (pictured, top). There’s nothing like the combination of mates winning awards and free tequila to get a damn good party started.
