Tales in Space – Getting to know
Tales In Space, the Sydney-based duo behind the infectious 2013 award-winning hit ‘Shades’, are back and ready to unleash their new electro-pop single ‘All Messed Up’. Pieman from the band tells us more:
Tales in Space are…
A. A series of stories or fables that consist within an empty area.
B. A short narrative or ‘yarn’ that is set in the outer stratosphere.
C. A band from Sydney that likes eating burger rings, playing Frisbee and making music to horizontal hug to.
All Messed Up is…
A. A deliberate hairdo I give myself to try and be cool. (works 17% of the time)
B. Miley Cyrus’ career.
C. Our new hit single that you should certainly insert into your face as soon as humanly possible.
Our upcoming Australian tour will be…
A. A drug fuelled mess that will end in disaster and possibly the death of one or more band members.
B. The time of our lives, full of ball tearing performances, followed by magical nights of partying, wonder and whimsy.
C. All of the above.
We spend too much time…
A. On the toilet. The average person will spend approximately 1 year in the bathroom throughout their lifetime. (14 months if you count passing out at the local)
B. Trying to work out whether videos on Facebook are fake or not and commenting accordingly in the ‘comments’ feed.
C. Doing Q&A’s…… and not enough time making rock n roll history (that’d be pretty tough anyway considering we’re an indie electro pop act).
Sydney is…
A. Sometimes wet.
B. Sometimes dry.
C. A bloke I bummed a ciggie off at the pub last Tuesday.
It might surprise people to learn that…
A. In 1936 a pig in France was executed by public hanging for the murder of a child.
B. I grew up in a tiny town in country New South Wales which was last year made famous as it was chosen by Daft Punk to be the site of their global album launch for Random Access Memories.
C. We have an album coming out soon and there’s a chance that it’s going to be so highly anticipated that we’re thinking of doing a global album launch somewhere in the remote hills of France.
