Local Live at FBi Radio kicks off!
Sydneysiders, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to attend a series of free gigs at FBi Radio’s new in-house performance space, exploring the exciting landscape of what the new/local music scene has to offer.
FBi Radio has partnered with Jack Daniel’s and is set to launch a series of free live to air gigs starting February 19th (that’s today, btw). The Redfern Studios have been constructed into a permanent performance space, FBi Live, which will play host to events and live-to-air showcases from emerging and established, local and international talent.
Throughout its 12 years, FBi Radio’s focus on Australian and Sydney-based music, arts and culture has always been helping local artists transition from the unknown to the mainstream by playing a a diverse mix of shows and content, spanning a variety of music genres to its 470,000 strong listener base.
“Now with FBi Live, we’ll be able to open our doors to more music fans and local talent than ever before,” music Director of FBi Radio, Stephen Goodhew states.
Upcoming artists who will be performing in the newly made space include hip-hop artist, Tkay Maidza, fresh from Laneway, Sydney based singer/producer George Maple and alternative Aussie rock band Cloud Control. who will perform an exclusive show as part of the line-up, with more events to be announced in the coming weeks.
The night starts at 5:30pm and you can nab free tickets simply by registering via live@fbiradio.com with your preferred artist of choice along with your name and date of birth.
