Here at somethingyousaid.com, if you asked what our all-time favourite things in the world were, the words “food”, “booze” and “films” would rank highly. Combine the three, and we’re pretty much in heaven.

So, we’re pretty bloody interested in Sydney Film Festival’s Gourmet Cinema. Basically, it’s exactly what it sounds like. You get to watch a film while eating delicious nosh and washing it down with wine and beer. That’s living the dream, right?

Interested? Of course you are. Well, here’s the scoop. Gourmet Cinema will bring together exquisite dining from some of Sydney’s finest restaurants, paired with food-related films. As well as fine dining, you can also drink matched wines by Eden Road Wines and beers from Little Creatures.

The event is now in its fourth year and will run from the 9-11th June. Tickets range from $120-$145, including the film, dinner, and drinks. Here are the deets:

9 June – Sergio Herman: FUCKING PERFECT and The Bridge Room
This is a behind-the-scenes portrait of Dutch chef Sergio Herman. Included in the cost of a ticket ($145 per person) are drinks and a four-course meal at The Bridge Room, prepared by 2014’s Chef of the Year, Ross Lusted.

10 June – Foodies and Azuma
This documentary explores the world of food bloggers (check the trailer, above). Tickets are $140 per person and include a three-course meal by Azuma, the iconic Japanese restaurant.

11 June – Good Things Await and The Governors Table
