My 2015, My 2016, by Simone Kerr
With 2015 now a distant memory as we excitedly welcome another year, we’ve been asking some of our all-time favourite humans to tell us about their highlights/lowlights from the last 12 months and their hopes for 2016. In the last of the series, here’s international model and founder of Balletto Body, Simone Kerr:
2015 was an adventure! Nine countries, three continents, one new language and loads of new friends.
My highlight was exploring Europe solo between work assignments, going on weekend adventures with friends to the Mediterranean seaside and attending my Uni graduation.
My lowlight was becoming a Belieber and not even having enough shame to deny it.
In 2015, I was watching Game of Thrones, the end of Mad Men and loads of documentaries.
And I was listening to Alt J, Adele, early 2000’s punk and 90’s pop.
2016 will be a new frontier. Expanding career horizons. My last chance to make a 30 under 30 list.
I’m most looking forward to strengthening my grasp on the Italian language and collecting more passport stamps.
In 2016, I want to visit Katmandu/Mt Everest.
By this time next year, I hope to be utterly exhausted from another awesome year.
