Video Premiere: Nelipot – Coming Coast

We’re excited to get your weekend started (Friday lunchtime is officially the weekend, right?), by exclusively premiering the brand new video from an up-n-coming trio of youngsters called Nelipot.

Hailing from the Central Coast in New South Wales, the band have already turned plenty of heads on the live scene. They’ve shared stages with the likes of Kingswood, Tired Lion, Bootleg Rascal and Ocean Alley and are planning a bunch of headline shows this year.

Today, the Terrigal lads are unleashing their new single, Coming Coast, which is an indie-rock offering with blues and soul edges.

Benny, Jordan and (slightly confusingly) Jordyn from the band explain what this new track is all about: “Coming Coast highlights the monotony of Coastal Culture, this being expressed both lyrically and instrumentally through structure, melodic contour, and repetitive chordal progression. All of which allude to the tedious, unchangeable cycles in which we have found our families, friends and ourselves falling into here on the Central Coast.”
