Getting to know Fiction Writer

Fiction Writer is the new musical project from Gideon Bensen. We grabbed a moment with him and asked him to tell us about his new band. Check out his words and catch the striking debut video, choreographed by Richard House, dancer and choreographer for The Australian Ballet and shot and directed by cinematographer, Tim Glastonbury:

We are Fiction Writer.

“No Rumour” is our debut single, off our upcoming EP.

Home is where the heart is. For now it’s Sydney… but the heart can wander.

We spend too much time watching Tim and Eric and drinking sweet berry wine.

We’ve never had a fight. We’re a new band though. Give us time.

It might surprise people to learn that we all drink two cups of coffee a day. No more, no less. Except Brendan (bass player), he has four. He’s always ahead of the beat.

In 2108, we hope to get out and play our new release. It’s exciting to think the world will soon hear what we’ve been working on the last year.
