Interview: Getting to know Onslow

Melodic-punk band Onslow recently released their debut single, Let Me Rust. We asked them to tell us about themselves:

We are… Onslow, we’re a newly formed heavy alt rock band from Perth, WA.

Let Me Rust is… our new debut single. It’s a classic 90’s style loud-soft-dynamic, grunge-esque song about a longing for, and lack of a sense of purpose in life, and in turn, how that affects the way you and others around you behave.

Home is… nuzzled between two seats on the floor of a van. Either that or somewhere outdoorsy with fresh air.

We spend too much time… playing Magic: The Gathering. (not very outdoorsy)

We’ve never… had an argument. Yay to being a brand-new band.

It might surprise people to find that… Sean used to take guitar lessons from Scott, which I think was actually the last time we’d hung out before actually deciding to be in a band together.
