Getting to know Squirrel Flower

Squirrel Flower, aka Boston artist Ella Williams, has recently released her new album, Planet (i). We asked her to tell us about herself:

I am… a tiny being in a massive universe.

Planet (i) is… a burning flood of soft wood and sharp metal.

Home is… where i can breathe in all the way.

I spend too much time… thinking about all the cells in my body doing their jobs every day.

I’ve never… been to Australia!!!

The last 12 months have been… massive waves, the lowest points and the most stunning beauty.

It might surprise people to learn that… the dinosaurs on North America died because tiny pieces of melted and resolidified rock gas (which were tiny droplets of glass) fell through the atmosphere and heated the air up so much it created an oven and they baked :'(
