Boorloo/Perth-based nu metal band Indigo Blaze have revealed their new single. We asked them to tell us about themselves:
We are … Indigo Blaze, an oddball quintet who watched too much pro wrestling as kids and believes nu-metal is the missing piece of the modern music industry.
CRITICAL HIT is … a force of nature not to be taken lightly. It’s got it all; hooks, one-liners, breakdowns and gaming references for good measure.
Home is … Thornlie in Perth, Western Australia, known for the Lakers Tavern, the mighty Thornlie Lions footy club and the Southern River Band!
We spend too much time … imagining what it would be like to play Woodstock ‘99 or Wrestlemania.
We’ve never … played a show outside of WA to date. The East Coast never gets any closer, but the Blaze can get bigger!
It might surprise people to learn that … although Perth kinda is on its own planet, the talent and music scene out here is unreal!
