Glastonbury Festival 2015 – video highlights

glastonbury 2015

So Glastonbury’s done for yet another year. Didn’t we see you there… wandering naked and confused around the healing fields after eating some questionable cookies? Or drinking your bodyweight in cider and making “lifelong friends” that you have subsequently added on Facebook but will likely never speak to again? Wasn’t that you wearing the “zany” festival headgear that suggests you need to have a long, hard think about your life choices?

You might have seen some music too, but in case you didn’t, here are just a few of the highlights, starting with the newly-reformed Libertines…

We love you too, Father John Misty…

Talking about The Who’s generation..

This song just never gets old from Future Islands….

SO SICK from Jungle. We wonder when we’ll be invited to join a band onstage at Glastonbury to show off our similarly epic dancemoves.

Mark Ronson performs Uptown Funk and calls on some low-key mates to help him…

Poetry from Kate Tempest…

Franz Ferdinand + Sparks = Yes Please

Good ol’ FKA Twigs doing what Twigsy does best…

Maybe the frontman of Fat White Family looks like Gary Neville, but you can bet your life he sings better than him.

SBTRKT, so good…

Overpriced unreal estate, surreal estate from Super Furry Animals.

More shine than rain from Young Fathers.

Jamie T’s tribute to the walking dead…

Our old mate Jarrod Dickenson even turned up on the telly…

And finally, there was this, from Lionel Ritchie…

You can see heaps more at the BBC’s Youtube page.
