Holiday Sidewinder – Stay Another Day

Isn’t it great when two things you love come together to create something new and awesome? Like that time someone decided that, while banana and toffee are pretty amazing as individuals, if you put them together… boom… you’ve got Banoffee pie, the best dessert ever.

Which is a roundabout way of saying that we’re excited that one of our favourite people in the world has decided to cover one of our all-time fave Christmas songs. Yup, London-based Sydneysider Holiday Sidewinder has just dropped her rendition of East 17’s ‘Stay Another Day’.

Recorded at Dean St Studios in Soho, the tune will be released across all digital platforms and on limited edition cassette tapes available directly from her website. In homage to the original (penned by Tony Mortimer about his brother’s suicide), a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Mind charity for mental health.
