Poliça and Vernon Have a Tiff

When Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon says your band is “the best thing I’ve ever heard,” you know you have something good.

And when the  the angel-voiced, hobo-chic Vernon sings a duet with your band by the name of Tiff, you can be SURE you have something good. So Poliça must be feeling pretty happy with themselves right now because the American two-piece have recruited Justin DeYarmond Edison Vernon for a collaboration which premiered at the recent Coachella Festival (not that we were there).

The song harks back to the lost days of Gayngs – a project including members of Poliça and Bon Iver, amongst over twenty-five other musicians. These old hats have reunited for Tiff, a tense, atmospheric track with a hip hop beat and occasionally Vernon’s it-is-autotuned-or-is-it-just-amazing vocals. Hear it below:
