SYS + David Ford + Jarrod Dickenson!
We’ve attended enough concerts over the course of the years to understand what constitutes a cracking musical experience. Basically, if you combine good music, a good atmosphere and bargain-priced tickets, you’ve got a pretty good recipe. So we’re very confident that our first ever attempt at gig promotion this July will be awesome. We’re putting David Ford and Jarrod Dickenson on the same stage at The Hope in Brighton for the ludicrously cheap price of ten quid and letting the rest take care of itself.
With four albums of eclectic, emotive and utterly engaging songs in his arsenal, British singer/songwriter David Ford‘s live show is “unmissable… one of Britain’s best,” according to The Guardian. Texas-born, Brooklyn-based Jarrod Dickenson‘s unique mixture of folk, Americana and roots blues won him an army of fans when he was handpicked by Ford to support him and perform in his band on his recent tours. Combine the two and we’re talking about one of those gigs that’ll be in your top ten list at the end of the year.
This is their first ever joint headline performance in what will be Ford’s first Brighton appearance in over two years and Dickenson’s debut turn in the city.
The magic happens at The Hope in Brighton (a short walk from the station/seafront) on July 10th. Keep up to date with the set times/latest news etc at the Facebook event page and get your tickets here.
