Photos: Haim and Alpine in Sydney

The “Three sisters and a mister” that constitute Haim might have been shaking Los Angeles to its very foundations for over four years, but this year they’ve gone totally mega-global. Glastonbury Festival was just one of a plethora of highlights of late, as they continue to live up to their status as the buzz band of 2013. Their popularity saw them sell out their Sydney sideshow at The HiFi this week, but fans who missed out on tickets were able to catch them DJing for free at The Beach Road Hotel in Bondi.

Also on the bill were Melbourne six-piece, Alpine, who belted out a fine set of twinkling, sophisticated pop music which fused harmonies, hypnotic rhythms and beats. We sent photographer Philip Erbacher along to document the shenanigans.
