The Rodarte Star Wars themed collection!

Not very long ago in this galaxy, not too far away, Rodarte wowed their New York audience with a stunning Fall 2014 Ready-To-Wear collection which incorporated five gorgeous floor-length gowns exhibiting images from the epic science-fiction franchise, ‘Star Wars’.

The silky frocks featured several of the franchise’s most popular characters such as Luke Skywalker, C-3PO, R2-D2 and of course, the legendary Yoda. Designers Laura and Kate Mulleavy also printed images of the twin suns of Tatooine and the almighty Death Star to set the galactic setting, and ignite the imaginations of fashion lovers and Star Wars geeks alike.

Apparently these dresses are not for sale (Bummer! Potential wedding dress right there!), but they are the icing on the cake of a truly impressive collection. The dresses will undoubtedly be displayed in fashion editorials in the upcoming months, which will make for excellent publicity for the newest ‘Star Wars’ episode rumoured to be upon us within the next year.
