Listen out for Flume’s Arcade Fire remix

Australia’s boutique national dance-music event is round the corner! After the success of its debut last year, Listen Out returns next month to bring quality hand-picked dance music to punters across Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane. And what better way to whet our collective appetites than with huge Aussie export Flume remixing one of the biggest bands in the world right now? Have a listen to Harley Edward Streten’s reworking of Arcade Fire’s track “Afterlife” at the foot of this article.

“I got the chance to hang out with Win from Arcade Fire on tour in Aus,” Flume said. “He asked me if I’d like to do a remix. I wanted to try something a little more restrained, a slow burner.” And so this new track was born.
