Tonstartssbandht & the Large Baby Tour
If you’re long-since over listening to the countless overplayed Christmas songs blasted though the shopping centre speakers and you want to shake more than that salt shaker over your Christmas ham these holidays, then the New South Wales-based amongst you should check out Tonstartssbandht’s ‘Large Baby Tour’ for a good time outside of collating your pet’s Christmas sweater collection.
Tonstartssbandht (pronounced Tahn-starts-bandit, if you wanted to know) is made up of Mac DeMarco’s guitarist, Andy White and his brother Edwin from Florida. You know, the place with the palm trees, but most importantly a place where I’ve heard that their live show is one of the world’s best.
Their music is a mashup of garage, psych and country, so you’re sure to have the time of your life rocking out to their sounds, whatever your preference. It gets better though, because Tonstartssbandht are busy debuting their, ‘Large Baby Tour’ for the first time in Oz, with a bunch of killer supports including Morning Harvey, Twin Haus, Tempura, Mangelwurzel, Baptism of Uzi, Premium Fantasy, just to name a few.
So these New Year holidays, go check out Tonstartssbandht’s ‘Large Baby Tour’ and don’t cry about it. Just go and have a bloody good time.
