Impossible launches Instant Lab Universal
To celebrate the launch of its latest product, the Instant Lab Universal, which transforms digital images on Apple and Android smartphones and tablets into classic Polaroid style instant photos, Impossible recently exhibited eight works each from eight distinctive instant photographers.
Appropriately entitled 8 x 8, the London exhibition ran for just three days at The Hoxton Gallery and we were lucky enough to attend the launch. It was a great night. Impossible selected eight artists from the USA and Europe, including amazing musician Alison Mosshart and Scout Willis (daughter of actors Bruce Willis and Demi Moore) and challenged them to create eight pictures using the Instant Lab with any of Impossible’s colour or b&w 600 or SX-70 films.
Also exhibiting work were Chuck Grant (sister of singer/songwriter Lana Del Rey), amazing fashion photographer Kate Bellm, Paulina Surys, Elegia, Andrew Millar and Oliver Blohm.
