Interview: Getting to Know Sky’high
Australia-based Sky’high is a compelling up-n-coming artist emerging within the local Hip-Hop community. We asked her to tell us more about herself. So here she is, in her own words:
I am Sky’high aka SPACEGIRL FLY. Songwriter / Rapper/ Artist/ Sercha / Thug / Rock Star.
My upcoming show at Oxford Art Factory is this Thursday 26th of March. I will be performing new material. Nothing but Madness I tell ya… I will be supporting my mates “Triple One” and these guys are off tap.
Home is Sydney City, till the death of me, lol. I’m not even a fan of crossing the bridges (Harbour & Anzac). This is unless I gotta play or create, then it’s wherever the heart is.
I spend too much time on the same song. Like, all the time. Sometimes I gotta learn to just let be, let go n move on to the next one.
I’m currently listening to… myself… lol, egomaniac. Nah jk, I’m currently listening to Something for Kate. Paul Dempsey is an amazing writer.
If I could collaborate with anyone it would be Paul Dempsey.
It might surprise people to learn that I suffer from Bipolar.
In the future I’m gonna need me seven or more Grammys.
Love Sky’High aka SPACEGIRL FLY.
