Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day is coming!

The legen-dairy (geddit?) day is almost upon us. Yup, prepare your tastebuds because Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day is back! That’s right, FREE ICE-CREAM! Surely there are no three better words in the English language.

On Tuesday 14 April, Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shops around the world will be scooping out FREE ice-cream.

Giving away free ice cream is not something new for Ben & Jerry’s. Every year since their first anniversary back in 1979, they’ve thrown open their Scoop Shop doors and invited fans in for Free Cone Day. An instant success, (as if it could fail) it’s now celebrated each year, all over the world – from Atlanta to Amsterdam, and of course in Australia.

This year, Free Cone Day also marks the beginning of Ben & Jerry’s global Climate Justice campaign, Save our Swirled, in Australia. Ever the ethical company, Ben & Jerry’s, together with campaign partner WWF Australia, will be on hand at all Scoop Shops on Free Cone Day, collecting signatures to help bring attention to the need for Australia to lower carbon pollution to help keep global temperature rise under the unacceptably dangerous level of 2 degrees Celsius.
