Having already turned heads across the Australian music scene, Melbourne-based cousins Simon Lam and Chloe Kaul have since generated considerable buzz worldwide and are in the midst of a triumphant European Tour. The duo, known as Klo, have already smashed The Great Escape in Brighton and the Aussie BBQ in London and are set to take on Liverpool’s Sound City this weekend. Then, it’s the really big one, Primavera Sound in Barcelona, no less.

Before they headed off on their travels, we sent dazzlingly good photographer Philip Erbacker along to spend an afternoon with them in Sydney’s Surry Hills. Here are his photos. Click to enlarge.

Klo’s debut EP Cusp is out now. The band has received praise from the likes BBC Radio 1, Hypemachine and Elle Magazine, who ranked them as “Artists to watch in 2015”. They are definitely an act to keep firmly on your radar if they aren’t there already.
