Pier One’s Delicious Destinations Festival
Hey Sydneysiders. Do you enjoy fantastic views, delicious seasonal produce, live entertainment and dogs? If you don’t, then feel free to go back to your moribund existence. There is nothing for you here. However, if this floats your boat, then pay attention, because, you’re prolly gonna wanna check this out.
Set against the backdrop of stunning Walsh Bay, Pier One Sydney Harbour is bringing to life its passion for local, seasonal produce with their first Delicious Destinations Festival on Sunday 11th of October.
Alongside delights from the hotel’s restaurant; The Gantry, the Pier turn itself into a hub of local eateries, vendors and regional produce stations. There will also be live entertainment, educational classes and exclusive tastings and talks from legendary wineries and distilleries.
There will be regional vegetables and ingredients from the Blue Mountains, Mudgee, Orange and South Coast of NSW. The Grumpy Baker will be baking fresh bread all morning live on the pier.
Oh, and DOGS! As one of Sydney’s few dog friendly hotels, the Delicious Destinations Festival will even feature the official DOGUE doggy corner, offering treats, gourmet meals and pampering activities for our four legged friends.
It’s all happening in the revitalised Walsh Bay, perched on the Harbour’s edge and nestled next to the Sydney Harbour Bridge. We’ll see you there (we’ll be the ones with our faces full of food, patting every dog we see)
