Getting to Know Louise Lemón

Louise Lemón recently released a new single. We asked her to tell us about herself:

I am Louise Lemón, I’m a songwriter, musician and performer.

‘Malex’ is my new single. It’s a track that I love to sing. It’s a song that came to me easily and it sums up a lot of what my EP ‘Purge’ is talking about. I think it’s a song that made me grow as a writer and as a person too. My favourite songs are those ones, that after you’ve created them also creates a change in you.

Home is right now in Sweden, but the winter is coming so I might make home a different space and place.

I spend too much time thinking. Almost everyone I’ve met the last couple of weeks has told me that in one way or the other. Maybe it’s true. Or maybe the world would do better at a slower pace where everyone could find time to reflect more. It can be a curse but mostly I think it’s a blessing.

I’ve never ever met him again.

It might surprise people to learn that we’re all surprises waiting to happen. Layers and layers to uncover until we find that we’re all very similar.

In 2018, I hope to tour a lot. I’m releasing my debut album, with some music that I’m extremely proud of and I can’t wait to play these songs live. I’ve been writing and spent a lot of time in the studio the past months so I am really looking forward to getting out on the road.
