Interview: Getting to know Intriguant

We asked Singapore-based electronic music producer Intriguant to tell us about himself, ahead of his performances at Bigsound:

I am… Intriguant.

Recluse is… my debut LP that delves into the ideology of being alone. It features a couple of fellow Singaporean artists as well. My latest release is a remix version of the title song, which was produced by Daisuke Tanabe. A remix of the full LP will be out soon for you all to feast your ears on.

My upcoming show at BIGSOUND will be… a completely new one. I’ll be playing unreleased songs and beats. It’s gonna be very very exciting. Come on down to the Hear65 Singapore Showcase on the 5th of September at Ric’s Big Backyard or pop by my other performances at The Flying Cock and The Woolly Mammoth to have a boogie.

Home is… where I lay my head.

I spend too much time… thinking of what to eat for my next meal.

I’ve never… been to Sydney.

It might surprise people to learn that… I am an approachable guy.
