Beyond The Picture – Fox and the Hound

We’re excited to today premiere the video for Fox and the Hound, the brand new track from Adelaide-based alternative rock quartet, Beyond The Picture.

Beyond the Picture is the culmination of four passionate musicians; lead vocalist/guitarist Josh Watson, vocalist/keyboardist Claudia Gill, drummer Harry Tuck and bassist Evan Grear. Initially a trio, the four-piece take influence primarily from the likes of Radiohead and Arcade Fire.

“Fox and the Hound most obviously makes use of the classic book and movie, by giving a fractured detail of the minds of two very different people,” Josh Watson explains. “A metaphor much like the source, about how those differences make for a melting pot of a relationship that could never be as they come to terms with their own nature. A very different song by my standards both lyrically and musically, but one I’m proud of nonetheless. ”
