JägerHaus returns to All Points East

All Points East, in the midst of London’s sunny summer, was incredible last year. So many epic memories. Like when Kylie joined Nick Cave onstage… OH MY GOD. So, we’re obviously well excited about this summer’s instalment, which includes The Strokes, Bon Iver, First Aid Kit, Chemical Brothers, Snail Mail.

Something else we’re looking forward to is the return of Jägermeister’s JägerHaus (pictured, above). If you’ve been to a festival over the past few years, you might have chanced upon the JägerHaus, which offers live performances and an indoor bar area serving signature Jägermeister cocktails and ice-cold shots.

There’s also a backyard in which to chill or, more likely, cut some shapes to celebrity DJ sessions which take place throughout the day. Last year, we were there when London punksters Shame dropped banger after banger. Literally one after the other. Eiffel 65 + The Vengaboys + Cher = Party.

This year, a revamped Bauhaus vibe will be bringing a certain Berlin cool to All Points East, and there will be a curated line-up of emerging and established live acts, which will be announced soon. We’ll bring you the deets once we have them.

Last year’s highlights included Scotland’s up-n-coming Lucia, UK artist Marika Hackman (pictured, above). With the JägerHaus providing a small, intimate space, attending shows there felt like being part of something secret and special and illustrated exactly why it is always worth doing your research, stepping away from the main stage and hunting out performances elsewhere on a festival site.
