Our top ten tunes of the week – December 2
These are the ten songs that have been getting us going over the past seven days:
1. Grimes – My Name Is Dark
This new track is lifted from Grimes’s upcoming album, Miss Anthropocene, which is out Friday 21st February 2020 via 4AD / Remote Control Records.
2. Lisa Caruso – Dream Lover
This new single is the fourth from Lisa’s forthcoming album titled In Feelings due out early next year.
3. Sahara Beck – Queen of Hearts
The video, directed and produced by creative collective Method To My Madness, captures Beck in vibrant, colourful and manic scenes.
4. Isadoré – NO ILLUSION
Isadoré, aka Isabelle Reynaud, is a singer/songwriter from Australia. Check out her new single.
5. Sorry – Rock ‘n’ Roll Star
Sorry have just wrapped their U.K. tour and new dates have been added across the country, in Europe and North America for 2020, including their biggest hometown show to date at Village Underground and first headline shows in New York and Los Angeles.
6. Hey Geronimo – Waste Yourself
Known for their creative videos, this clip features a line up of the band (with a special guest appearance from Ball Park Music) playing live as senior citizens shock them with electric dog collars
7. Fay Wildhagen – Different
Last year Fay released her second album, Borders, which was nominated for two Norwegian Grammy Awards, as “Best Indie Artist” and “Best Producer.”
8. Two People – Dream Steppin’
Following the release of their debut full-length album First Body in January 2019, Two People are back!
9. Driver – Sin City
The Brisbane-based indie electro newcomers have released their debut single.
10. Violent Soho – Vacation Forever
This follows new track ‘A-OK’ that arrived last week, the first taste of new music from the Mansfield band since their critically acclaimed #1 multi-ARIA winning, Gold certified, forth studio album ‘WACO’.
