Getting to know A Swift Farewell

Sydney based pop-punk band, A Swift Farewell, have just released their new single and music video, ‘Breathless Breathing’. We asked them to tell us about themselves:

We are… A Swift Farewell. 5 high energy, high volume, idiots who love to play music. Pop punk vibes with a rockstar stage show exploding onto the Sydney music scene.

Breathless Breathing is… a song about finding the strength to get back up even when the world seems to want to keep you down. We all have our own battles and what’s important is that even when it seems like you’re suffocating, you continue to fight and know that you’re not alone. We shot our music video with Kangiten Productions, and honestly it was amazing to work with him as he worked with artists that we aspire to share a stage with!

Home is… Sydney, NSW Australia.

We spend too much time…. nit-picking over our songs. So much of ourselves goes into these tracks and we’re never truly finished finessing them. It usually takes two of us to go hungry, that we stop and just head down the road to grab a feed.

We’ve never… been to a show all together! We go out to gigs almost every week but there’s always at least one of us working. When it’s us playing, we manage to get the night off but yeah we’ve never had a real night out all together unfortunately.

It might surprise people to learn that… we met through Facebook! Emma posted about looking for bandmates and we replied. She even made all of us audition haha.
