Getting to know The Flowers

Sydney band, The Flowers, have just released their new single. We asked them to tell us about themselves:

We are… THE FLOWERS!!!

Summer Saviour is… our newest single – it’s our attempt at a lovey-dovey serenade-y song. We also tried to kind of bottle up summer with this song, capturing the brightness so we have something to get us through the winter chill that’s already kind of hitting us

Home is… whenever we’re playing music. Sounds cheesy but like… IT’S TRUE!!

We spend too much time… sending voice memos to each other. Texting is so yesterday.

We’ve never… played a gig outside of NSW. Hoping to change that this year 🙂

It might surprise people to learn that… we both kinda love country music.

In the future… in the very near future this is an EP we’re about to set free into the wild. Exciting times.
