Our top ten tunes of the week – April 9
These are the ten songs that have been getting us going over the past seven days:
1. Laura Marling – Held Down
Initially planned for release later this year, Laura Marling has brought forward the release of her new album, given all the chaos going on in the world right now. She says: “In light of the change to all our circumstances, I saw no reason to hold back on something that, at the very least, might entertain, and at its best, provide some sense of union.”
2. Jarrod Dickenson – Gold Rush
This track is taken from Jarrod’s album, Ready The Horses, which is finally being released worldwide on May 22nd.
3. CHVRCHES – Forever (Separate But Together Version)
This track is taken from the album, Love is Dead. This though, is a version created in extraordinary circumstances.
4. Greta Stanley – Soak Into This
